Ellington, Harrogate…

Had a fantastic last minute week away for some winter warmth in Lanzarote and now back to it.

Up bright and early on Thursday morning for a long trip down to Ellington where it was lovely to see Neil again, whom we’d met a couple of years ago for hydragas pump on his Mk I MGF VVC in British Racing Green (HFF).

Cambelt service carried out and underfloor coolant pipes replaced, all went without a hitch and with welcome comfort on a carpeted floor in his garage. Thanks to Neil for the cuppas and great to have a chat with him before heading home.

Friday morning found us in Harrogate where we met Jimmy and his 1999 MGF in Nightfire Red that was very low on its stops.

All four corners replaced with reconditioned hydragas spheres, the car is now sitting as it should and looks great. All grease points greased and minor service carried out too. Thanks to Jimmy for the cuppas, nice to meet him and hope he has an enjoyable and smooth run out tomorrow.

Cars being dropped off at the workshop over the weekend ready for us to get cracking on at the workshop next week.

We did manage to have a bit of car action while we were away with a brilliant afternoon on the Karting track, with some not too shabby lap times! Sorry just had to add the pics!

Hope you all have a great weekend everyone near and far. 🚘 – https://ift.tt/lby7j3P
